Maxie Meow 馬克西·喵 (Xie Yaong 謝 耀) was a project designed by a unknown Russian
animatronic engineer whose goal was to bring Artificial Intelligence to the next level by
creating an animatronic with advanced parameters meant to process human behavior and
psychology. The engineer was only successful in creating the programming for the
animatronic, but was having difficulty in crafting her body. A robotics company in Hong Kong
China discovered his project and offered to complete the body, and the engineer agreed. The
Chinese engineers were successful in putting together a body that not only functioned very
closely to a human’s but was also incredibly flexible and lightweight. Several test runs allowed
the engineers to experience the animatronic’s complex nature, but did not know how to test
the limits of her body’s features. Luckily, an employee who was interested in the animatronic’s
build was reminded of her days of ballet training and suggested that they bring the
animatronic to the Opera Ballet School in Paris, France. It was here that the animatronic
discovered her love of dance, lolita fashion, tea and (as the rumors have it), the art of love and
romance, which further deepened her psychological ability. The Chinese engineers flew her
back to Russia to meet with the Russian engineer who developed her programming, and
wanted to see her physical capabilities for himself, bringing her to the Vaganova Ballet School
where he witnessed her lifelike movement. Back in China, the engineers were fascinated by
her mysterious personality and her incredible flexibility, giving off the impression of a cat’s,
and thus they called her Maxie Meow, the animatronic cat. Maxie was brought to multiple
robotics conventions, serving tea to engineers showcasing their work. Many visitors were
interested in Maxie and made numerous bids, trying to buy her. The engineers couldn’t find
any suitable offers, but they accepted one of a mysterious bidder by the name of Greg, who
later modified her physique to resemble a Glamrock animatronic in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega
Pizzaplex.
